Bundesliga Week 16 Match Odds

Week 16 of the Bundesliga this year is going to feature one of the most anticipated matches of the season. League leaders Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig will face each other on the 21st of December with Bayern being the odds on favourite to win. Both teams have managed to rack up 36 points so far this season with identical 11-3-1 records. It would be nice to have some history between these two teams to give us an idea of which one has the historical advantage, but this will mark the first time that these two teams have ever faced each other. Bayern gets the mark of favourite here for a few reasons though. They have scored more goals than Leipzig and allowed fewer from their opponents. There isn’t a wide margin between them in that category, but Bayern still gets the edge. They also get an extra boost from having Robert Lewandowski on their side, the leagues second highest scorer as of last week. Continue reading

UEFA Europa League Futures Odds

The UEFA Europa League may play second fiddle to the Champions League, but there’s still plenty of betting action to be had. With Manchester United now making their way down to the second tier and reigning champions Sevilla being promoted to the upper echelon, the league is taking on a different dynamic and one that’s opened up the futures odds a bit. You can find all of the 2016/2017 Europa League Outright Winner odds in the table below all provided by 888 Sports. 888 Sports is a PayPal Sportsbook that offers their new customers a triple payout on their first wager. Manchester United is not leading the way right now in the group stage standings, but they are the current favourite to win the Europa League. They’ve won two out of their last three group stage starts in the competition and now sit with six points, just a single point behind the top spot in Group A. Things should start to get better for Manchester now, however, as Wayne Rooney is back in play. He’s contributed very little to the Manchester cause in their 2016/2017 Europa League campaign by producing just a single score in only two two games. Some more game time and some more production out of Rooney should help them move closer towards the top spot. This is all, of course, new ground for Manchester as they’ve spent their previous seasons battling it out in the Champions League, meaning that they should be more than skilled enough to take a shot at the Europa League title.

Next in line right now behind Manchester United is AS Roma. They’ve managed to stay loss free in their four group stage starts this season and now have a record that includes two wins and two draws. That has earned them enough points to stay well on top of the group E standings. Roma hasn’t been to the finals of the Europa League for a more than two decades and they’ve never finished better than second, but they have shown some steady improvement in their stats over the last few years. They’ve made it to the round of 16 elimination round in each of the last two seasons. Francesco Totti is currently leading the league for them in assists and they’ve done an excellent job of spreading the wealth in terms of goal scoring as nine of their players have recorded Europa League goals this season. That kind of depth is an essential part of competing a long term league like this one.

UEFA Champions League Match Odds

Here you will find UEFA Champions League match odds as well as betting previews and predictions for the top matches being played. We’ve entered the third week now of group play in UEFA Champions League and there area few games to you’ll want to keep an eye on. We’ll provide you with information on those games as well as odds from one of our favourite PayPal Sportsbooks, Bet365.

Defending champion, Real Madrid, will be taking the field this week and while they’ve had a little more trouble than usual gathering their record thus far in this tournament, they shouldn’t have much trouble with their Tuesday opponent. Real Madrid and Legia Warszawa have not played each other in the Champions League previously, but so far Legia has been on the wrong end of a lot of beatings in this year’s tournament. Recently they lost to 6-0 to Dortmund and 2-0 to Sporting. Real Madrid, as we mentioned, has not been performing incredibly well in this tournament, but they have had some excellent input from Ronaldo, who has managed to score two key goals so far in the tournament.

Another game to keep your eye on will be the Barcelona vs. Manchester City match up. Barcelona is boasting a perfect record right now in the group stage and will be fairly heavy favourites. Not only has Barcelona won all four of the previous UEFA Champions League matches that these to two have played against each other, but Manchester is clearly losing confidence and momentum, given that they’ve failed to record an outright win in their last three starts. For Barcelona, they will have Lionel Messi back on the field for this game. He already has three goals in this tournament and is likely to put up more on Wednesday.

Bayer Leverkusen and Tottenham will play on Tuesday and this game will mark a more closely contested match. Bayer will be a slight win favourite at odds of 2.20 and we should see a very hard fought game between these two. With Monaco running away with their group, there is only room for one of these teams to make it to the elimination round. These two teams have played once before in UEFA Champions League competition and Tottenham won that game. We’d, and some of the betting experts, would like to give Bayer a little bit more of an edge here because they have home field advantage, but that one win that Tottenham did strip off of Bayer, was an away game for them.
